COCONUT CACAO SHAKE

This shake is the perfect post workout treat because it combines healthy fats, protein and fibre. It is also a great breakfast option for those always on the go as it is quick, nutritious and will keep you feeling full.

THE SHAKE INGREDIENTS:
1 tbsp Cacao Powder*
1/2 frozen banana
1 tbsp nut butter (free from palm oil and sugar)
1/2 tbsp hemp seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 1/2 cups of almond or coconut milk
4 ice cubes

THE TOPPING INGREDIENTS (optional):
150ml coconut cream**
1 tbsp cacao nibs for topping

THE METHOD:
1) Add all shake ingredients to your blender until creamy and smooth (place in fridge)
2) Place coconut cream into bowl and whisk until fluffy (this can take 10 minutes)
3) Remove shake from fridge and top with whipped coconut cream and sprinkle with cacao nibs.
4) Enjoy!

* We love to use ADUNA SUPER-CACAO POWDER
**You can also use full fat coconut milk that has been placed in the fridge and allowed to separate for 2 hours/ overnight. Use the thick mixture at the top of the can.
